Facilitators for this ministry plan and host special experiences for husbands and wives with the intent of nurturing and strengthening marital relationships. Marital partners receive biblical fundamentals as guides for better marriages. It offers couples a spiritual respite and time to draw closer in their understanding and appreciation of one another. All married couples are encouraged to join this ministry.
This ministry is designed to minister to the needs of single adults by teaching and helping them to unearth the righteousness, responsibilities and rewards of singleness through Christ their Savior and example. A Singles Conference is held annually over a weekend with an evening seminar, a day of fun-filled activity and attendance at Sunday Worship. Singles by choice, divorced, widowed-male & female are encouraged to join this group or come and visit.

The YOUNG PEOPLE DIVISION (Y.P.D.) is a youth organization, established in October 1915, under the auspices to the Women’s Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. You will find African Methodist Episcopal Churches throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, South America, England and African. Y.P.D. units may be found in most local churches throughout the Connection. The Y.P.D. membership is estimated at over 100,000.
The Y.P.D. is administered for youth, 2 to 26 years of age, to provide meaningful training in all areas of Church Life. Members of the Y.P.D. learn first-hand about parliamentary procedures by following their own constitution and by laws.
The structure to implement the program is comprised of the Local, Area, Conference Branch, Episcopal District and Connectional Church. The Y.P.D. is divided into four groups (Mother Sunbeams-ages 2 to 6 years, Allen Stars-ages 7 to 12years, Young People’s Auxillary-ages 13 to 17 years and Young Adults-ages 18 to 26 years).
Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
