GSP OUTREACH MINISTRIES

CARING & SHARING MINISTRY

The members of Caring and Sharing, using donations specifically designated for the ministry, aid persons who are in need of emergency assistance. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, the Caring and Sharing Ministry is responsible for the distribution of generous food baskets to the sick and shut in and to persons in need during the holiday season.

COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Come Home for Christmas is an annual celebration when the members of Greater St. Peter volunteer to become disciples. On the Third Sunday, shelter residents and their children are transported to the church for praise & worship service. Residents are served a home-cooked meal and given Christmas gift packages. Generous donations make this ministry possible.

DAUGHTERS OF SARAH MISSIONARY SOCIETY

As a community of Christian women, the Daughters of Sarah Missionary Society commits itself to engage in ministry and action, which promote wholeness and healing in the church, society and world. All women of Greater St. Peter are members of the Daughters of Sarah Missionary Society and are encouraged to become active.

PRISON MINISTRY

The Prison Ministry assists in building Christian relationships and developing spiritually in those incarcerated. The Prison Ministry also assists with an aftercare program designed to guide those from incarceration back into society.
